Ms. Hennessee graduated from Michigan State University in 2002 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and received a Masters in Education from Texas State University in 2014. She enjoys learning from her students, painting, drawing, swimming, yoga, mindfulness, and listening to live music.

Stephen Sclater - Tchr-Elem Sp Ed Bil Early Chi-Graham Elementary
Mr. Sclater graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish for Teaching with minors in business and computer science. During an unfulfilling three-year stint as a technology salesperson, he pursued his teaching certificate through Region XIII and began teaching in 2006. He has been teaching Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) since 2009 and enjoys the wealth of challenges and rewards offered by his students. He takes joy in family, travel, cooking and running in his spare time.

Ms. Williams graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Human Resources. After working banking and accounting, she got her teaching certificate through Texas Teachers. She enjoys working with the students and helping them with their academic needs. She enjoys taking walks, reading and watching TV.

Ms. Atchley graduated from A&M Kingsville University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Education specializing in Special Education. She enjoys playing sand volleyball, doing pilates and cooking. Special Education has always been a big passion of her’s and loves every minute of positively impacting the young lives of students.

Mary Jamison - Tchr-Elem Sp Ed (PPCD-Graham Elementary)
Ms. Jamison graduated from a small college in Kansas ages ago. Year to be disclosed at a later time. Her teaching career started when she began subbing at her daughter’s preschool. After teaching in that private preschool for nine years, she earned her special education certification at Region XIII. This is her twelfth year teaching special education at AISD.

Trey Soto - Tchr Elementary Therapy Social Behavior Skills Special Edu
Mr. Soto graduated from Angelo State University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and earned his Masters degree in Kinesiology from A&M Corpus Christi in 2019. He gained his teaching certification through Texas Teachers and has worked in the special education department since 2012. Mr. Soto enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics organization, as well as participating in strongman competitions in his free time.

Olivia Corona - Speech Language Path Bil-Special Education
Ms. Corona is a national certified and state licensed bilingual Speech Language Pathologist. She graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2013 with a Bachelors in Communication Disorders and received a Masters in Communication Disorders from Texas State University in 2016. Ms. Corona is passionate about enhancing bilingual students’ verbal/non-verbal communication skills. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading books, cooking, watching binge-worthy series, the outdoors as well as spends her summers traveling abroad.
Sra. Corona es una terapeuta bilingüe del habla y el lenguaje certificada a nivel nacional y estatal. Se graduó de la Universidad Internacional de Texas A&M en 2013 con una licenciatura en trastornos de la comunicación y recibió una maestría en trastornos de la comunicación de la Universidad Texas State en 2016. Amanda Carlson - Speech Path-Special Education
Ms. Carlson graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University. She became a Speech Language Pathologist to support children in finding their voices. She moved here from Illinois in 2015 with her husband and dog. She loves trying new foods (and deserts), running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
